The Modern Language Association(MLA) format is a method or criteria which is used in academia. It is famous for its parenthetical references. There are always certain rules of reciting a sacred text. MLA has established some specific guidelines for Quran learning methods and the book of Quran must be recited according to these guidelines. 
 
•    Opening parenthesis at the very end of sentence or a quote that you are reciting. This is done by holding the shift key and pressing “9”.
•    Do type the name of Qur’an you are using which is followed by a comma. It’s example can be found in the English of today. After this write the name of chapter that you want to recite and then enter colon. Write down the type of verse that you are reciting.
•    Close out the parenthesis. This can be done by holding the shift key and then pressing “0”. In the end, add the closing punctuation mark for the sentence that you want to recite.
•    Enter name of Holy Quran that you are using, following it by a period. Like for example, you can type The Qur’an: English Translation Text.
•    Do type the word “Trans”, then follow it be a period, especially if there is a translator. Later on, type the first and last name of translator which is then followed by a period.
•    Enter the location and then the colon sign. After that type name of publisher and enter comma. In the end, type the date of publication which is followed by a period.
