Love or Arranged Marriage
Marriage is a vital aspect of life, and there are different questions that come into the mind of a person about marriage. Everybody wants to live a happy marriage life. There is often a debate among people about whether Love Marriage is better or the Arranged Marriage. In the present world, arranged marriages are popular while in the western world and culture, love marriages are more common, and however they often result in divorces. It is important as a Muslim to understand the Islamic perspective about Love and Arrange Marriage. Islam gives special importance to marriage and according to the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H), a person who has enough resources for this noble act, must do it.

Benefits of Marriage in Islam:

There are various benefits of marriages, as it saves everybody from the wrong path and brings peace in everyone’s life. If you study Quran from a professional Holy Quran teacher, you will definitely become able to understand the significance of marriage in Islam. If you are able to find a good life partner, then marriage is the most beautiful thing, however it might cause you trouble, if both of you are not compatible with one another. Therefore, you need to find the right life partner for yourself. Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) has described the qualities of a good life partner and said that he should be the one who has virtue. Nowadays there is great significance of Beauty, Wealth and Status in the mind of an ordinary person, but it is virtue and good deeds of a person that matters the most.

If the comparison is made between arranged and Love marriage, then the fact is that Islam supports Arranged Marriage, however if you like a boy or a girl and send him the marriage proposal then Islam does not stop you from it. The modern concept of dating of boyfriend and girlfriend is not allowed in Islam. On the other hand, forcing a person to marry someone is prohibited in Islam and Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) has strictly forbidden this. From the Islamic perspective, a person must get married as soon as possible once he becomes capable for it.
