The book of Holy Quran was revealed some fourteen centuries ago. This book is a source of guidance for all mankind. There are many attributes of this book which you can understand from a professional Quran Teacher.

 1) Speaking About the Universe into Existence:

It is mentioned in the Holy Quran about the existence of this Universe.

“He is the Originator of the heavens and the Earth.”(The Quran, 6:101)

Recently science has discovered about the Big Bang. Before Big Bang, there was no existence of any kind of matter. This scientific concept was proved and explained by science some fourteen hundred years ago In Holy Quran.

2) Orbits:

Research and study from the astronomers show that each and every object of the universe is revolving in a definite orbit. Calculations from the scientists yielded statistics that Sun is travelling at a speed of 720,000 Km/h and this travelling is in the direction of a star Vega which revolves around in a specific orbit named Solar Apex.

This fact is also mentioned in the book of Holy Quran:

“It is He who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. They swim along, each in an orbit.” (The Qur'an, 21:33)

3) Roundness of Earth:

The Arabic word “to wrap” was used to describe the universe. It refers to the act of lapping one thing over the other in English language. This information of wrapping each other provides the accurate information about shape of the whole world. This also shows that the earth is round.

This phenomenon was also described in the book of Quran.

“He has created the Heavens and the Earth for Truth. He wraps the night up in the day, and wraps the day up in the night.” (The Qur'an, 39:5)

4) Movement of the Mountains:

Geologists are of the view that the movement of Earth’s crust causes the movement in the mountains. A German scientist discovered in the beginning of the 20th century that the crust of Earth remains over the mantle layer and it is denser.

This fact is also mentioned in the book of Holy Quran.

“You will see the mountains you reckoned to be solid going past like clouds” (The Qur'an, 27:88)
