Gambling has now become an acceptable practice in the Muslim Society because media has promoted it to a wide scale. Large Number of Muslims also get caught into the web, not knowing the fact that the earning they get from gambling is haram. Every type of transaction in which gain and loss in not known is known as Qimaar and Maisar in the technology of Shariah. It is also termed as ‘Juwa’ in Urdu language. In this way, two people compete into a certain race with some certain conditions.
If one surpasses the other one, then one person will give the other some thousands pounds. Some conditions can also be included in this game. Like two people bet on rain. If there will be rain, then you will give the other thousand pounds and if it does not rain then the other person will give a thousand pound. By getting online Quran teaching, you will be able to better understand about the evils of gambling in society. There were many procedures amongst the Arabs for gambling. There might be ten arrows, each with a very special name; they all have various shares allocated to them. These can be one share, two share or three shares etc. There might be someone without any share. They certainly would jumble the arrows and ask any person to pick the arrow for every person. Depending upon the arrow picked up by a person, he will get his share. He will then be considered as the owner of it.
In order to show pride, people often distribute amongst all poor what they have. There is lots of role that Islam has played in the economic and social orders. Without any proper and valid reason, certain amount of money is taken from the poor and then it was given to a single person. This possession of wealth cannot be justified and is therefore strictly prohibited in religion Islam.
