There are five pillars of religion Islam. All these pillars have some sort of association with faith. However, there are two pillars Peace and Justice, which are vital component of religion Islam. Both these are closely connected with each other, as there cannot be any peace without justice. Muslims believe in the fact that peace is not possible, until and unless there is submission in the Universal order. In the religion Islam, justice has great significance. One of the name of Almighty Allah also translates into justice. It is Aadil (Just). Quran has spoken a lot about justice and it is quite close to piety (Taqwa). Why Justice is Important in Life?

Some scholars also believe that piety lies in offering prayers and fasting. The question arises why justice is important in Islam. The basis of faith lies in the Oneness of Almighty Allah. This is very much reflected in the unity of his creation. This unity is reflected in balance and harmony. Injustice destroys the harmony and upsets balance. Injustice destroys the sisterhood and brotherhood of believers which is a vital element in the Islamic society. In Islam, all things are inter-linked and connected with each other. This is a vital aspect of unity.

If you learn Quran Online, you will understand what this Holy Book says about justice.

As it is said:

“If you do judge, judge between them justly. Allah loves the just.”(Surat al-Maida, 42)

Islam is a realistic religion and Quran is very much aware of human weakness. Some people are of the view that Quran speaks about retaliation as the principle of justice. This is not true. Many Islamic countries have eliminated the law of retaliation and adopted some other forms of punishments that correlate with the modern world. Therefore, justice is the main principle of Islam, as it is deep rooted into Almighty Allah. Believers of religion Islam are often warned that they must show mercy towards their fellows and show justice.
